Gianni G.Gaeta

G.Gaeta is an illustrator, oil painter, sculptor rather than a comic artist of the twentieth century. He also is a singer (1934 -1987).
 
Gianni G.Gaeta best known as G.Gaeta, was an artist of the twentieth century, of international renown and his work can be seen in many areas of the publishing media.
 
G.Gaeta, collaborated for the most popular publishers, for whom he painted illustrations and covers for magazines, books and comic books, names like: rcs, mondadori, mursia, fabbri editori, giunti, Amz, edizioni paoline (famiglia cristiana) and many other.
 
He gained notoriety for his collaboration with "IL MONELLO" and intrepido by Universo, painting the covers of each episode of the series entitled "forza Folgore, cuori selvaggi and calzoni corti" 

Gianni was born in Frascati, Italy. He worked at the Favalli Studios, the only reality based in Rome for the creation and realization of film and movie posters, after attending the school of art Liceo Artistico di Belle Arti and architecture at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome.
 

In 1958 Gianni moved to Milan, where he worked for IMA art agency and Durbans' art branch, creating and drawing and/or painting illustrations for their brands. 
in the meantime meanwhile, he was collaborating with grandhotel magazine, intrepido and il monello comics. 
his illustrations have graced books, magazine and comics published not only in italy but also all around the world. 

g.gaeta also felt more comfortable painting in oils throughout his life, whose artworks have been sold in several exhibits in Italy and abroad.
